Deep we digged and long where the tunnels we had to force into the rock.
But finally we got there.... the heart of the mountain right in front of us.
The air surrounding us was filled with scent of metal; a river of smoldering magma at one´s feet.
The warm glow of giant gold- and silver-veins enlighted the huge vault and i promise i felt the pulse of the mountains.
- Number two of a series of two conceptual shots - Number one:
"In the Cave of the Crystal-Dragon"
I tried to combine macro-photography with light-painting.
It´s a shot of a tiny mountain crystal with 30 second Exposure and painted light of red and yellow LEDs, an amethyst in the backround.
Shot with a Canon EOS 6D, EF 100mm f2.8L Macro-Lens.
